Marina Muñoz participated in a conference project to celebrate International Day of Women and Girls in Science

On February 17, our colleague Marina Muñoz participated in the lecture series organized by the Scientific Culture Unit of the University of Granada to commemorate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. The goal of this project is to bring science and research closer to the classroom and serve as an inspiration for female students. The lecture, titled “We’ve broken up, now what? The beginning, maintenance, and end of a relationship,” took place at IES Montevives in Las Gabias, with the participation of 90 students from the 4th year of ESO and 1st year of Bachillerato (aged 15-17).

The students were able to learn about Marina’s professional and academic career, as well as the Laboratory of Social and Gender Psychology, and gain insight into how social psychology research is conducted through some of our lab’s projects related to romantic relationships.
