Mª Dolores Sánchez participates in a colloquium on scientific careers on the International Day of Women and Girls in Science

On the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, M. Dolores Sánchez Hernández, researcher and lecturer in the Department of Social and Organizational Psychology at UNED, participated as a speaker in the colloquium “The Path to the Top: Progress and Attrition in Scientific Careers. An Integrative Approach”, held at the Faculty of Psychology of UNED (Madrid).

The colloquium was conceived as a space for analysis and dialogue on the factors influencing the development of scientific careers, with particular attention to gender inequalities and to processes of progression and attrition in research trajectories.

From an integrative perspective, the session addressed both the progress achieved in recent decades and the challenges that persist in promoting equality in academia, contributing to a collective reflection on strategies aimed at fostering talent retention and building more inclusive scientific environments.
